LayerBack

LayerBack converts diagram images into fully editable Microsoft Visio (VSDX), PowerPoint (PPTX), and draw.io files. Instead of tracing a screenshot by hand, users upload a diagram and receive a structured document with editable shapes, connectors, and text. It is designed for teams that inherit flattened architecture diagrams, flowcharts, process maps, network diagrams, and presentation graphics but need to revise them quickly. The service focuses on practical editing workflows: preserving visual structure, detecting text and relationships, and returning common business diagram formats that open in familiar tools. Typical use cases include rebuilding legacy diagrams, turning AI-generated diagram images into editable assets, updating technical documentation, and preparing reusable presentation slides. New accounts receive 20 credits, enough for two free conversions, and paid plans are available for ongoing work. LayerBack runs in the browser, so users can begin without installing desktop software.
